Position Title: Office Manager

Description: Multi - task Administrator needed for growing Landscape Architecture and Construction Company. Primary areas of responsibility include: Personnel - Project Support - Accounting support.

Duties:

Personnel Support:

Assist in the hiring of new employees - Check references - Maintain new employee records. Pickup employee time sheets from field staff, review for errors and prepare for payroll. Coordinate and deliver payroll.

Office Administration:

Answer phone, maintain messages, return phone calls to prospective clients.
Maintain all company files, hardcopy filing and computer files.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Implement marketing plans including placement of advertising, coordinating marketing material development and production.

Accounting:

Pay bills and enter data into Quickbooks accounting system.
Produce reports and financial statements using Quickbooks accounting system.
Enter labor hours and invoices into quick books project cost accounting.
Track project expenses using quickbooks, produce weekly reports.

Required skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills a must. Experience with microsoft word and excel a must. Ability to type 30 words per minute. Experience with PC platform and file structure is a must. Dependable and Detail orientated is a must. Quickbooks accounting software preferred. Drivers license required. No prior felonies - full background check is required for this position.

Work time/Location:

Approximately 20 - 30 Hours a week
Days of employment Mondays – Wednesdays - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Pay: $12 – $17 per hour DOE

Position Title: Project Design and Sales Manager

Description: Multi - task sales person and project manager for custom outdoor living landscape - design and construction company.

Duties:

Primary Position Duties - Project sales and management:

1. Educate and sell clients on design and landscape construction services
2. Design and draft landscape projects
3. Manage construction projects
a. Materials coordination / selection
b. Design interpretation - field instruction
c. Project records manager

Office Design Support Administration:

Answer phone, maintain messages, return phone calls to prospective clients.
Maintain project file records for cost accounting and project management.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Assist in implementation of marketing actions including:
1. Placement of advertising.
2. Coordinating marketing material development and production.

Required skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills a must. Design intelligence. Sales experience a must. Project management skills desirable. Dependable and detail committed a must.

Experience with microsoft word and excel a must. Experience with PC platform and file structure is a must, *note, if applicant does not possess these skills, they must obtain the skills within 1 month of starting.

Dependable and Detail orientated is a must.

Quickbooks accounting software experience preferred.

Drivers license and vehicle required

Work time/Location:

Approximately 40 Hours a week minimum at company office and various customer locations throughout El Paso County. Days of employment flexible - to be coordinated with Gieo Pensoneault

Pay: Base hourly + sales commissions = $32 - 38K per year

Position Title: Landscape Construction Foreman

Position Description: Duties of a Foreman include direct responsibility for the efficient installation of all phases of landscape projects. Must be able to read construction blue prints, take direction from project designers and implement orders clearly on a job site. Must have experience reading basic grading information from plan and ability to set grades on site using transit and power equipment. Responsibilities include the training and supervision of labors to develop a productive and efficient work environment. Reviews time cards and coordinates flow of information concerning all aspects of ordering and deliveries on a site. Must be able to delegate, motivate and supervise to ensure a high level of detail with completed projects.

Specific Skills Include: Operation of major landscape power equipment such as; Skid steer loaders, trenching equipment, compactors, dump trucks and the trailering of equipment. Should possess knowledge and nomenclature of plant materials, proper techniques for planting trees, shrubs, or perennials. Knowledge and skill required for the construction of retaining walls including boulders, concrete block and timber systems.

Experience with masonry technique for flagstone, brick and concrete patios is desirable. Installation of irrigation equipment including; valve boxes, controllers, piping and nozzles. A Valid Colorado drivers license and good driving record is required.

Compensation: Hiring scale is $12 - $16 per hour + Benefits, DOE
